The procedure

Anne's out-patient surgery went well. The surgeon said that the tumor is actually 2cm, not the 1cm that he'd thought from the PeTscan. Anne had said that her radiologist warned her that it was too soon after her radiation treatments and that the images wouldn't be accurate.   None-the-less, her oncologist is pleased with the tumor's shrinkage so far. He took a biopsy and when the results come back he'll know if he's going to to be doing a "little surgery or a big surgery", as he put it.   Anne's was bleeding very heavily and having pain afterwards.  She's on vicodin for the pain and is a bit light-headed. Earlier today she was nauseaous, but that passed once she laid down.   I had taken these two days off just for this reason. I'm keeping an eye on her and making sure she stay's down and manages her pain. Lady is helping, too, being Anne's constant companion and nap-partner!   Keep them prayers coming and "God bless on you" (Ain't that cute? Makes me think of rain).     Don and Anne       ---
