Two! Two! Two days in one!

Anne's Wednesday: She called Helen to see how Roger was doing. Roger had two stents put into his heart. One on Tuesday and one yesterday.
She then met me for lunch at Szechuan Express where we had tofu and vegetables in, what else, Szechuan sauce. Anne had them make hers mild as her stomach is a bit touchy these days. She remarked the other day how ironic it is that she can't handle spicy food now and I've grown to love it! Hahaha...
Talked to Jim and got updates on Roger from him and she updated Jim on her condition.
Movies: Stir Crazy and Mel Brooke's History Of The World Part 1. Stir Crazy is another Wilder/Pryor film that finds them in prison where Gene discovers he's good at bull riding. My favorite scene is where Richard, playing a rodeo clown, is being told about a bulls "freight train"!

Anne's Thursday: Went down to the rib cook-off to pick up a custom patriotic-themed shirt from Sweet Williams. This is their last year working the special events circuit. The husband half of the team has congestive heart failure and the wife is not able to carry on without him.
Anne thought that by going early it might be cooler; it wasn't. She says "There's nothing to relieve the heat; it just beats down on you and, also, radiates up from the ground." Remember that she's extra sensitive to the sun these days?
Email from Helen reports that Roger is home and doing well. He's apparently got plenty of energy now that the old ticker is back up to snuff! Great news! They're going to take it easy this
weekend and then do a bit more next week as his strength returns.
No movie tonight. Early to bed; semi-early to rise is our motto these days! LOL
Love and kindness to you and yours,
Don and Anne

PS
If you're local, go downtown and see Sweet Williams many fun designs.
They're all on sale!
