The weekend report

Saturday Lunch with Dave and Joy at the Green Papaya. Anne's green curry was overly spicy and my pud thai was extremely mild. Both were supposed to be "3 out of 5" for the heat. So, we traded.   Lazy day, Sunday afternoon. Like to put my feet up... watch TV. Shane came over and we worked on the rest of the chords for Every Rose Has Its Thorn. Then his dad, Steve, came by and I had Shane teach him the chords that he was working on. Something that I learned from Anne is that you learn something much better when you're showing someone else how to do it.  Everybody else must have been busy, but Fred showed up with his guitar. So, we played some old rock tunes and he played a couple that he's writing. Shane hung around for a while just to see the old dogs play.   Saturday movie: Lady Killers. Anne laughed so hard at all the references to Bob Jones University by the main character, a woman of color!   No movie tonight. Anne watched Mystery Theater, instead.   God keep you and hold you in his hands, Don and Anne     ---
